Amber Waves

Amber Waves was created using C Sound and explores an ethereal electronic soundscape.  The title refers to the golden hue I imagine when I hear the piece and how the primary timbre used was created using granular synthesis (“amber waves of grain”).  Slow, gentle tonal waves rise and fall, accentuated by haunting “bird call” type motives and an unexpected yet fitting march beat.
